![]() I created a short 2-slide file and on first attempt I did not find the Magic Move animation.Then finally I was back in business and downloaded Keynote again.So I booted into recovery mode and reinstalled El Capitan, which took a while to download and install.On safe reboot I got a kernel panic, I tried twice no idea what happened and had to force quit each time.In the process of deleting Keynote using AppDelete I lost all my custom templates – not a big deal, just a nuicance.So I moved on to remove Keynote, which sent me down a several-hour long rabbit hole:.I had already tried without success the first set of your suggestions.In short, nothing has changed, Magic Move is still not working. ![]() I followed your suggestions and here are the results: ![]() Restart the Mac normally, (don’t hold down any keys during startup).Start up will take a few minutes longer than usual as the Mac is performing a software repair Release the Shift key when you see the grey Apple screen ![]()
